TAKE CARE OF YOUR EYES WHILE USING PC:::::



During a recent visit to an optician, one of my friend was told of an exercise for the eyes by a specialist doctor that he termed as 20-20-20. It is apt for all of us, who spend long hours at our desks, looking at the computer screen.

 





*Step I :-
After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.

*Step 2 :
Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.

*Step 3 :
Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body.
Circulate among all if you care. They say that your eyes are mirrors of your soul, so do take care of them, they are priceless.


* Step 4:
  Put your computer on a low table, or use a portable computer so your eyes look down when you work.

*Step 5 :
The distance between your eyes and the screen should be from 50 to 70 cm and 10 to 20 cm lower than your eyesight. Since angles and distance can reduce refraction and lessen tiredness for your eyes.

Bad Effects of Using Earphone

If you listed the benefits of earphones, you could probably go on and on. You can use them to listen to music while working out, doing chores or even while waiting for an impossibly long bus ride to be over. You can also use them to hear what's going on if your television or computer's speakers are busted. However, no matter how awesome or beneficial earphones may seem, they still have their downside.

Hearing Loss

One of the main side effects of listening to loud music is hearing loss. According to Dr. Brian Fligor, the director of Diagnostic Audiology at Boston Children's Hospital, people who listen to music at volumes exceeding 90 decibels, can suffer temporary loss of hearing. Sounds in this range can eventually cause permanent hearing loss, especially to teenagers who wear their earphones for long periods of time.

Decibel Ranges

Decibels are the measurement of loudness. If you listen to music at a restrained volume, then you don't have to worry. However, if you listen to music at the highest volume possible might want to consider the following warnings. If you listen to your music using earphones at 85 decibels, you can get permanent hearing loss if you listen up to eight hours a day. At 88 decibels, you can get the same result at just four hours of listening time. Now for the painful truth, you can lose your hearing in just 15 minutes if you listen at 100-105 decibels.

Ear Infections

Since earphones are made for two ears, it is quite inevitable that people share them. According to the Manchester Evening News, regular use of earphones can enhance the growth of harmful bacteria, and sharing or borrowing earphones may just cause the transfer someone else's bacteria to your ears. Research leader, Dr. Chiranjay Mukhopadhyay, advises everyone to avoid sharing earphones. If it cannot be helped, sanitize them before using.

Tips and Warnings

Do not use earphones that are inserted directly into your ear canals because, even though they can make the music sound better, they enhance the chances of hearing loss will also increase. You should also try taking 5-minute breaks every hour. This will help your ears recover from being bombarded by concentrated sound waves. Last but not least, if you can use speakers at a moderate level instead, then do so because they will disperse the sound waves and not cause as much direct damage to your ear drum.

1 】MULTITASKING:
Women = Multiple process
Women's brains designed to concentrate multiple
task at a time.
Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and
cook.
Men = Single Process
Men's brains designed to concentrate only one
work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk
over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV
while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk
over the phone or cook.
2 】 LANGUAGE:
Women can easily learn many languages. But can
not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily
learn languages, they can easily solve problems.
That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three
times higher vocabulary than a 3 year old boy.
3 】ANALYTICAL SKILLS:
Men's brains has a lot of space for handling the
analytical process. They can analyze and find the
solution for a process and design a map of a
building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by
women, they can not understand it. Women can
not understand the details of a map easily, For
them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.
4 】CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are
used in his brain. He can drive a car fast as
possible. If he sees an object at long distance,
immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or
van or car) direction and speed of the object and
he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long
time to recognize the object direction/ speed.
Mans single process mind stops the audio in the
car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.
5 】 LYING:
When men lie to women face to face, they get
caught easily. Woman's super natural brain
observes facial expression 70%, body language
20% and words coming from the mouth 10%.
Men's brain does not have this. Women easily lie
to men face to face.
So guys, do not lie face to face.
6 】PROBLEMS SOLVING:
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly
classifies the problems and puts them in
individual rooms in the brain and then finds the
solution one by one. You can see many guys
looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has
a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the
problems. she wants some one to hear that. After
telling everything to a person she goes happily to
bed. She does not worry about the problems being
solved or not.
7 】WHAT THEY WANT:
Men want status, success, solutions, big process,
etc... But Women want relationship, friends, family,
etc...
8 】UNHAPPINESS:
If women are unhappy with their relations, they
can not concentrate on their work. If men are
unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate
on the relations.
9】 SPEECH:
Women use indirect language in speech. But Men
use direct language.
10】HANDLING EMOTION:
Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot
without thinking.

How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night.
Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this ! Interesting.......
Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!
I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water...

2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion

* Eye exercise instructions-

* Eye rolling- Roll your eyes clockwise for 5 counts, followed by anti-clockwise movement for 5 counts this strengthens your eye muscles.

* Eye movement- Move your eyes up and down slowly. Then from left to right for 5 counts each. To enhance flexibility of eye movement.

* Eye Twitching : blink your eyes frequently to improve nourishment to the eye muscles to avoid dryness.

* Blood circulation to eyes: Yoga too has a great impact on eye health.
